Bhutan Farming Tour or Bhutan Agriculture Tour


Agriculture is still one of the major sources of livelihood amongst the Bhutanese people. Bhutan Farming or Bhutan Agriculture tour has been designed to give our valuable clients the first hand experience of framing life in Bhutan, besides knowing the Bhutanese way of life! In this tour, you will be working & eating with the local people and you will be staying in their house (farmhouse), giving you excellent glimpse into the day-to-day life of a typical Bhutanese family. You will learn the true Bhutanese hospitality and also why Bhutanese are happy people on this world. The experiences that you gain and earn through this tour will be always in your heart through out your rest of the life.

We will let you know what farming are there once you plan this tour with us accordingly to your travel dates and season.

However, the over view of the agriculture season are as follows:

Agricultural Season.

February/March/April: Farmers sow seeds for paddy plantations.

June / July: Paddy transplantation

August/ September/October: Rice Harvesting

September/ October: Beating and sorting of rice
