Bhutan Amazing Sunrise Tour.

In this tour, besides doing sightseeing in the valleys of Punakha, Thimphu and Paro, we will also see the amazing sunrise from Dochula pass, (3150m). You will be amazed to see so beautifully sunrise falling on snowcapped mountains of Eastern Himalayan Mountain rages, just lying in front of you, as you starts your New Year. As the sunrise falls on the mountains, we will pray to get the blessing from the Goddess of Mountains to bless us with bountiful of success, happiness and peace in our mind for the coming year.

Day 01. Arrive to Paro International Airport. (30-Dec-2013)
At the Paro International Airport, you will be greeted & received by the Representative of Authentic Bhutan Tours - For Your Bhutan Experience!
Then we will drive to Punakha Valley. Lunch will be served at Dochula Resorts.

PM: Continue our journey to Punakha. On reaching Lobesa, we will hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, which is located at a hilltop. The temple is known as ‘the temple of fertility’. The hike will take about 30minutes from the road end through paddy fields and farmhouses.
Evening at leisure. Dinner and over night stay at Punakha Hotel.

Day 02. Punakha – Dochula. (31-Dec-2013)
AM: After our breakfast, we will drive to Kabesa Village to see Khamsum Yule Namgyel Chhorten and then we will visit the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan, Punakha Dzong. Then we will drive to Dochula pass. Lunch will be served at Dochula pass.
PM: we will hike to Lungchutse Lhakhang. The hike will start from your hotel. From here the trail slowly climbs a ridge through a forest of hemlock, birch and rhododendrons. The hike will take about 1hr 30min one way. On clear days, the view from the temple is fantastic! You will have a 360° view of the Himalayas including views of Jumolhari (7314 m), Masang Gang in the region of Laya (7158 m), Zongophu Gang – a table mountain that dominates the isolated region of Lunana (7060 m) and Gangkhar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan and the highest unclimbed peak in the world (7497 m).
Dinner and over night stay at Dochula Resorts.


Day 03. Dochula Stay (Thimphu Sightseeing). (01-Jan-2014)
Today early in the morning we will wake up around 4.30am and will go to the Chhortens and wait for the Sunrise falling beautifully on the snow capped mountains.  Then we will come back to resorts and take a rest for while, and then we will have breakfast. After breakfast, we will drive to Thimphu and do Thimphu City tour like visit to Memorial Chhorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Motithnag mini zoo to see the National animal of Bhutan and we will do Sangaygang Cross Country hike. Lunch will be served at one of the restaurant at Thimphu.
PM: we will visit to Handicraft emporiums, paper factory and stroll around Thimhu town.
Evening, we will drive back to Dochula Resorts.

Day 04. Dochula – Paro (02-Jan-2014)
Druve to Paro and  hike to Paro Taktshang monastery. 
Lunch will be served at Paro Taktshnag Café’
On our way back to hotel, we will visit Kyichu Lhakhang.
Stroll around Paro town.
Dinner and over night stay at Paro Hotel, Phuentshok Juney Hotel or similar standard.

Day 05 Paro – Paro Internationa Airport. (03-Jan-2014)
After our breakfast, we will drive to Paro International airport for your ownward flight to Bangkok.

Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival,in Thimphu.

Druk Wangyel Festival takes place every year December 13, at Druk Wangyel Festival ground located at Dochula pass  (3150m), which is about 45mins drive from Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Dochula pass is adroned with many kind of prayer flags, 108 small stupas and offers a stunning panoramic view of Eastern Himalayan Mountain ranges including highest Mountain in Bhutan, Gangkar Puensum.
This festival was established in 2011 in commemoration of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and the Armed Forces’ victory over Indian insurgent forces residing in southern Bhutan in 2003.
Dochula Druk Wangyal Tsehchu is an unique festival where you will not see and experience in any other festivals in Bhutan and true exemplifies Bhutanese cultural traditions




Model Itinerary.

Day 01. 11/12/2017. Arrive to Paro – Transfer to Punakha.
On arrival to Paro International Airport, you will be receive and greeted by the representative (guide & driver) of Authentic Bhutan Tours – For Your Bhutan Experience!. You will directly drive to Punakha. Lunch will be served at Dochula Café. After lunch continue your journey to Punakha and visit the most beautiful dzongs in Bhutan, Punakha Dzong. Evening at leisure. Dinner and over night stay at Punakha/Wangdi Hotel. Zangtopelri or Pema Karpo hotel or similar standard hotel.

Day 02. 12/12/2017. Punakha – Thimphu.
After an early breakfast in the hotel, we will drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. On the way, we will hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility. Continue our journey to Thimphu. Lunch will be served at Thimphu. After lunch we will visit to Post Office to buy Bhutanese stamps and to make personalized Stamps and then Mmeorial Chhorten, Weaving Center, Motithang mini zoo, to see the national animal of Bhutan, Takin and Zilukha Nunnery. Evening visit to Bhutanese Farm House for dinner and hot stone bath. Over night stay at hotel Thimphu.  Peaceful Resort or similar standard.
We can also organize over night stay at Farm House also, if our guests are interested.

Day 03. 13/12/2017. Thimphu Stay.
After our breakfast, we will drive to Dochula, Druk Wangyel Festibval ground to witness Druk Wangyel Festival. Lunch we can take hot picnic lunch or can be served at Dochula Café. After lunch continue with the festival and in the evening visit Thimphu Tashichho Dzong.
Dinner and over night stay at Thimphu Hotel. Peaceful Resort or similar standard.


Day 04. 14/12/2017.Thimphu – Paro.
After breakfast, drive to Paro and hike to Paro Taktshang (Tiger’s Nest). Lunch will be served at Taktshang Café’. On our way back to Paro town, we will visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in Bhutan. Evening stroll around Paro town for your last shopping in Bhutan.
Dinner and over night stay at Paro Hotel, Olathang or similar standard.

Day 05. 15/12/2017. Paro – Paro International Airport.
After our breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. We wish you a very safe and pleasant

Bhutan Farming Tour or Bhutan Agriculture Tour


Agriculture is still one of the major sources of livelihood amongst the Bhutanese people. September/ October: Beating and sorting of rice
